Did you know that reading the leaflet inside the box can save your life?

Each year approximately 1.3 million people in the US attend Emergency Departments because of bad health situations caused by medicines. These bad health situations are called adverse medication events. Most of those events could be prevented by doing a simple thing.

Every time you buy any medications at the pharmacy, there is a piece of paper inside the box. An example of such a leaflet is pictured below.

This leaflet is called Consumer Medicine Information. Please, read this leaflet carefully before taking any medications. Please ask your pharmacists or a doctor if you have any questions or concerns.
